Key focus to retain and grow existing travel partners, including board
level negotiation of distribution agreements with partners such as TUI,
Thomas Cook, CTTG, British Airways, easyJet and Flybe.com.

Online Sales
Manager/Partnerships Manager (December 2004 - March 2008)
Responsible for acquiring new business partnerships via the online marketplace,
including growing traditional travel partners by advising on web placement
and sales conversion techniques as well as online only accounts such
as affiliate networks.
Key achievements in this role include winning and growing the British
Airways airport parking account, (worth in excess of 60k bookings p.a.)
and management of BLM (in excess of 100k bookings p.a.).
E-commerce
Co-ordinator (May 2000 - November 2004)
Responsible for managing in house web team, with a view to migrate bookings
from the existing Viewdata platform, (electronic booking system used
by the travel industry) and Call Centre to online. The role included
commercial negotiation and account management of over 1,000 online partners,
(including Ryanair and Expedia) and managing an online advertising campaign
with an annual spend in excess of £1 Million pa.
During my time in this role I helped Holiday Extras achieve:
-percentage of bookings made via the web site increased from 3% to over
65%
-the number of online bookings pass 1,000,000 (October 2003)
-conversion rates for website increase to 27% (unique users to bookings)

Interests &
Sports:
I am married with two sons aged 10 and 5. My youngest son has cerebral
palsy, which enables me to view life from a different perspective. In
March 2011 I decided to take a career break to help my wife look after
my sons growing needs. I have set up and run http://www.and-me.org.uk
to support parents in a similar position. Recently I was invited to
present and sit on a panel
to discuss if the UK Travel Industry is doing enough to cater for customers
with disabilities.
I enjoy driving my Lotus Elise and attending motor racing events, especially
Formula One, I have been fortunate enough to have experienced driving
both Formula First and Ferrari's on race tracks, I also enjoy karting,
from indoor machines throgh to Club 100. My other interests include
cycling, socialising and travel.
